A ferritic alloy steel comprising chromium (1.0–1.5%), molybdenum (0.44–0.65%), carbon (0.05–0.15%), manganese (0.30–0.60%), phosphorus (≤0.025%), sulphur (≤0.025%), and silicon (≤0.50%) is used to make Alloy Steel Grade 11 Foils. With a tensile strength range of 60,000–85,000 psi and a yield strength of roughly 30,000–45,000 psi, these foils are made to offer high strength and exceptional creep resistance at high temperatures. Molybdenum improves resistance to corrosion and oxidation under high heat conditions. Because of its excellent ductility, thermal stability, and dependable weldability, alloy steel grade 11 is appropriate for precision applications in high-temperature settings.
Alloy Steel Grade 11 Foils contain almost entirely chromium, molybdenum, and carbon, with minute proportions of silicon, manganese, and phosphorus. This content provides corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical strength. The foils will have tensile strengths of about 415–585 MPa and yield strength of about 205 MPa, with satisfactory elongation characteristics. Their high creep resistance and stability against oxidation in high-temperature conditions make them particularly useful in challenging conditions. The mechanical properties are such that Alloy Steel Grade 11 Foils will be able to withstand structural integrity and performance in the face of mechanical stress and thermal exposure.
