S1300QL is a high-strength, low-alloy quenched and tempered steel, manufactured in accordance with EN 10025-6 standards. Its chemical makeup consists of carbon (≤0.25%), manganese (up to 1.4%), silicon (≤0.50%), phosphorus (≤0.020%), sulfur (≤0.010%), chromium (0.8%), molybdenum (0.7%), nickel (2.0%), and vanadium (0.08%). It possesses a minimum yield strength of 1300 MPa, tensile strength of 1400–1700 MPa, and elongation of 8%, with an impact toughness of 27 J at -40°C. All of these characteristics make the material tough, formable, and dependable under high–stress and low-temperature conditions
