ABS DH36 has ~0.18–0.22% Carbon, with Manganese and Silicon, and microalloying elements for better toughness. It has a yield strength ≥355 MPa and tensile strength of 490–620 MPa. DH36 has good resistance to impact at -20°C, which is why it is used in cold sea climates. It is usually supplied in normalized or controlled-rolled condition to provide maximum mechanical performance and structural integrity.
