What is Low Temperature Carbon Steel A333 Gr 4 Pipe​​​​​​​​?

ASTM A333 Grade 4 Pipes are fabricated from a proprietary low-temperature carbon steel alloy containing carbon (≤0.12%), manganese (0.50–1.05%), silicon (0.18–0.37%), nickel (0.47–0.98%), chromium (0.44–1.01%), copper (0.40–0.75%), and aluminum (0.04–0.30%), with traces of phosphorus and sulfur (both ≤0.025%). These pipes have a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa and yield strength of 240 MPa, with 30% elongation in the longitudinal direction and 16.5% in the transverse direction. Heat-treated to achieve their best microstructure, they provide superior impact resistance and structural stability in cryogenic and sub-zero temperatures.
