What is Alloy Steel T23 Tubing?

Alloy Steel T23 Tubing consists of low carbon steel with the additions of chromium (~2.25%), molybdenum (~0.3%), tungsten, vanadium, and niobium. This combination provides enhanced creep strength, oxidation resistance, and weldability compared to previous grades. T23 tubing possesses a tensile strength of 510–620 MPa and minimum yield strength of 400 MPa. The material goes through normalization and tempering heat treatment for structural stability at high temperature and pressure. The alloy provides excellent performance in high-efficiency, low-emission systems.
