Alloy Steel T11 Tubing contains chromium (1.00–1.50%) and molybdenum (0.44–0.65%), which give it mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability. Other constituents are carbon (≤0.15%), manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur, in proportions controlled to provide toughness and weldability. Mechanically, the tube has a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and a minimum elongation of 30%, making it suitable for creep resistance and thermal fatigue in high-demand applications. Low carbon in the alloy also provides high ductility and weldability, enabling safer and more efficient operations.
