What is Alloy Steel T22 Tubing?

Alloy Steel T22 Tubing contains major percentages of Chromium (1.9–2.6%) and Molybdenum (0.87–1.13%), along with traces of Carbon (max 0.15%), Manganese (0.30–0.60%), and Silicon (0.50–1.00%). It possesses superior resistance to high temperatures and creep. T22 tubing provides a minimum tensile strength of 415 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 30%. Normalizing and tempering heat-treat the alloy for outstanding performance in thermal cycling and high mechanical stress applications.
