Carbon Steel A192 Tubing is composed of carbon (max 0.18%), manganese (0.27–0.63%), phosphorus (max 0.035%), and sulfur (max 0.035%). The alloy is renowned for its high-pressure resistance, which suits it well for thermal conductivity. It has a minimum tensile strength of 325 MPa and a yield strength of 180 MPa, and an elongation of 35%. It is cold-drawn and heat-treated to achieve high strength, ductility, and resistance to thermal stress. The tubing complies with ASTM A192/A192M standards and is subjected to intensive testing for mechanical integrity.
