FORA 450 wear-resistant plates consist of low-alloyed steel with up to 0.26% carbon content. Main alloying components are manganese (up to 1.60%), silicon (up to 0.70%), chromium (up to 1.04%), nickel (up to 1.05%), and molybdenum (up to 0.60%). These features improve hardness and abrasion resistance. The plates provide a Brinell hardness of 410–500 HB, yield strength of about 1200 MPa, tensile strength of 1400 MPa, and elongation of about 10%.
