S1100QL is a high-strength low-alloy steel produced according to EN 10025-6 standards that provides a minimum yield point of 1100 MPa. Its chemical composition contains carbon (≤0.25%), manganese (1.60%), silicon (≤0.50%), and trace components such as chromium (0.80%), nickel (up to 3.00%), molybdenum (0.70%), boron, and vanadium, which contribute to hardenability and toughness. The steel provides a tensile strength of 1250–1550 MPa, elongation of 10%, and sustains 27 J impact energy at –40°C. Such mechanical properties provide superior formability, toughness, and resistance to brittle fracture in sub-zero and heavy-load conditions.
