S315MC Sheets and Plates are micro-alloyed, hot-rolled steels, containing ≤0.12% Carbon, ≤1.60% Manganese, Phosphorus, Sulphur, and micro-alloying components such as niobium, titanium, and vanadium. These components refine the grain structure and add strength. The steel offers a minimum yield strength of 315 MPa and tensile strength of 390–510 MPa. Its low carbon equivalent has good weldability and superior cold-forming qualities.
